Wow! That was great! Why does the rest of the class do videos and crafts WHEN WE'RE IN CHALLENGE?????!!!!! ♥ Anna C.
Anna C.,
I think the non-Challenge students would ask the same - Why do the Challenge students get to build bridges while we're in the classroom?! But don't worry - I'll try to incorporate a video project sometime very soon. Maybe we could incorporate it into our Tour of the Planets?
Anna C.'s right! Its soooooooooooo unfair! Besides the bridges we make are made out of tooth picks! TOOTH PICKS! Anyway I really enjoyed it it was very funny. Garvin was being funny when he said "Bye?" I want to do one! When will the ENTIRE class get to do one? (including challenge) Well got to go! Caroline
Caroline,
I diagree - it's very fair. I know you've had the opportunity to participate in technolgy projects and other fun activities during Challenge. I'm just trying to provide those same experiences for our non-Challenge kids, too. That's fair, right? But I will try to incorporate some video projects for our normal class time. Our non-Challenge students will have their own special projects - just as you have yours during Challenge. I want it to be fair to everyone!
I understand. But it would be nice to be seen on your blog, and I speak for everybody in Challenge. But I see that it is fair to let the non challenge students have a little fun themselves. Caroline
This was such fun to watch, and I am in awe of the poise of these students.

Dear Mr. Brown,
I agree wiht Anna C & Caroline! WE get TOOTHPICKS!! YOU get VIDEO CASTS!! UNFAIR! Anyway, in challenge we only get to do small stuff to do. No BIG projects. Well, I've gotta go. Bye!!
- Betsy ): :)
I am awed by their poise as well. They are naturals in front of the camera - and so creative with their presentations.
Mr.Brown,
Can I can I just add a reminder to your point? Good! I hope that you have the time to read this comment! I understand what you mean by its fair to the non-challenge students, because the 4th grade Challenge studentsd get to go on a field trip to North Carolina while the rest of fourth grade just stays at school. So you grabbed a very good point. Also just to tell you I have an Andrew Clements book I'm about to finish that I thought you might like! Try to guess what it is. Also you're in for a good surprise! Love,
Caroline (Your favorite student)
