Sam and I were studying for the test and were having some difficulty thinking of many examples of similarities between the great plains and eastern woodlands. It was easy to think of differences but not so easy to find similarities. They both hunt and use tools but a lot of other things seem different. What other similarities are there?

Thanks for your help!

I agree - there are more similarities than differences. Some general similarities would be that they both used the resources in their environment to survive. They both respected nature. Both hunted animals (although different animals), and used all the parts of the animals' body for food, clothing, tools, etc. In both groups, men were responsible for hunting, while women often cooked, prepared food, and took care of the homes. Hope a few of these ideas help!
